What happens when prices arrive.

Building on a beta is a bet on what we do next, so here is what we are committing to.

Notice before anything changes
Plans and prices are announced by email before they apply, not on the day the bill lands.
A free tier stays
A small project stays free. This is not a trial that quietly ends.
Building stays free
A full test environment costs nothing, so you never pay to try, prototype, or run CI.
Your users are exportable
Every user comes back out through the same REST API you manage them with. Leaving is a script, not a support ticket.

Free while we grow, not a trial.

Most auth pricing charges per seat or per environment, so the cost arrives before the value does. We would rather earn the adoption first: test and production both run free on generous limits, with no paid plan to be on yet and no clock counting down. The one thing the free tier keeps is a small “Secured by ZevAuth” badge on your sign-in.

  • Asset bandwidth Your storage provider, at their rate
  • Per-seat editor fees None. Invite your whole team
  • Charge to export None. It is the same API you read with

Frequently asked questions

What people ask about the money before they start.

What does ZevAuth cost to start?

Nothing. A full test environment with its own keys, every sign-in method, both SDKs, captured email and a token minter for CI is free, with no card to create a workspace, a project, or a key.

How much is production?

Also free, right now. Live environments run on generous monthly-active-user limits while we drive early adoption — you pay for nobody today. We have not published paid plans yet, and when we do the figure is announced by email before it applies, with building and testing free regardless.

Can I remove the "Secured by ZevAuth" badge?

Not yet. Every sign-in screen carries a small "Secured by ZevAuth" mark, and while the service is free it stays on. Turning it off will belong to a paid plan later — for now it is the one thing the free tier does not let you disable.

What happens when paid plans arrive?

Your project keeps working. Prices are announced by email before they take effect, a free tier remains, and no project is switched off without notice.

Is anything limited before then?

Test environments cap the number of users so a sandbox cannot quietly become free production. Beyond that we apply fair-use rate limits to keep the service stable, and contact you rather than cut you off.

Can I get an invoice or pay in Naira?

Billing runs through ZevPay, which supports Naira and USD and issues invoices. Nothing is charged for building or testing.

Can I export my users and leave?

Yes. The same REST API you manage users with returns them for export, and tokens are standard signed JWTs you can keep verifying. Leaving is a script, not a support ticket.

Start with a project and a key.

Free to build and to ship. Test and production both cost nothing today. Generous limits, no card, and no surprise bill.
